UNBROKEN. This powerful word is now denoting Ukrainians.
Many of them have lost everything. Home. Family. Childhood. And yet… remained UNBROKEN.
The city of Lviv has turned into a big humanitarian hub in which people fleeing the war are finding refuge. Since February, the First Medical Association of Lviv alone has provided qualified medical help to more than five thousand Ukrainians affected by the hostilities. Every week, wounded patients are transported from front-line hospitals by evacuation trains and ambulances. Treatment of the war-affected Ukrainians takes place within the framework of the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center. This is a unique place where adults and children affected by the war can receive comprehensive qualified medical care. It includes reconstructive surgery, orthopedics and robotic prosthetics. Here, prostheses are not only fitted but also manufactured. In addition, the Center provides physical, psychological and psychosocial rehabilitation of the injured military and civilians. The project is implemented by the First Medical Association of Lviv and the Lviv City Council with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Our goal is to help Ukrainians remain UNBROKEN and get all the necessary help here, in their own country, near their families.

The NGO Docudays and Docudays UA festival team has initiated a fund to support Ukrainian filmmakers who are bravely and daringly documenting the events of the war in Ukraine right now: recording war crimes, filming footage for the international media and for their future films which will later give the world a more in-depth perspective on the situation in our country.
We are working in several directions.
Thanks to our partners and the festival’s friends, we are able to help filmmakers by providing them with the most necessary filming equipment (batteries, hard drives, memory cards, chargers, adapters, replacement of damaged lenses, etc.—that is, the things which are required to continue filming).
We are raising money which will allow us to cover the expenses on fuel, medicine, first aid kits, basic needs in emergency situations (one-time payments of up to 4,000 UAH).
We are forming a database of international foundations and opportunities which will also provide monetary aid to the Ukrainian film community:

To deal with the consequences of the Russian invasion and threats the war poses on the Ukrainian art community - (MOCA) Museum of Contemporary Art NGO, in partnership with Zaborona and The Naked Room established the Ukrainian Emergency Art Fund.
WHAT WE DO : provide support for independent artists, curators, arts managers, researchers, art writers and cultural NGOs in Ukraine; facilitate support and administer donations offered by international artistic and charity organisations; promote contemporary Ukrainian culture as a powerful instrument for strengthening Ukraine's position among democratic nations of the world.
WE SUPPORT : Stipends for research, artistic practice and associated living costs for artists and cultural workers staying in Ukraine or relocated after the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine; Support packages for NGOs and cultural initiatives to renew their pre-war programmes and activities.
